King Mohammed VI received, on Thursday, June 4, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the members appointed to the Constitutional Court. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the organic law related to this court, particularly the stipulations concerning the renewal of one-third of its members.
A statement from the royal court indicated that it concerns both Mohammed Amin Benabdallah and Saad Ghazioul Barada, the members appointed by the king.
The statement added that the king preferred to appoint Mohammed Amin Benabdallah as the president of the Constitutional Court. Ahmedou Al-Baz, the member elected by the House of Representatives, and Abdel Hafid Adamino, the member elected by the House of Councillors were also appointed.
During this reception, the new members took the oath before the king.
