The journalist and content creator Ashraf Belmouden was caught today, Wednesday, June 4, 2026, in a cheating situation while taking the baccalaureate exams for “free candidates” at the Al-Samaria Preparatory School in the city of Salé.
According to Goud website, a regional committee from the Ministry of National Education, which was conducting a routine inspection of the examination centers, caught Belmouden with a mobile phone that he was using to cheat. The device was immediately confiscated, and the situation was considered a “documented case of cheating.”
The incident caused widespread controversy within the center, prompting the regional director of the Ministry of National Education in the area to attend. The regional committee is currently studying the application of the legal and disciplinary procedures applicable in such cases, which typically include immediate expulsion from the exams, with the possibility of additional penalties ranging from banning from future sessions to legal proceedings.
