The Emirati news agency announced on the evening of Wednesday, June 3, that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, met with King Mohammed VI during a special visit he is making to Morocco.
The agency stated that the Sheikh discussed with the King of Morocco the solid fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work, especially in developmental paths and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and brings goodness and prosperity to their peoples, emphasizing their commitment to continue mutual fraternal consultation and coordination and to enhance cooperation between the two countries at various levels.
The meeting also touched on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments taking place in the Middle East and their repercussions on regional security and stability.
The Emirati statement came 24 hours after a statement from the Moroccan royal cabinet, which addressed this meeting in the capital, Rabat, on Tuesday, June 2.
