Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reiterated his commitment to the issue of Western Sahara, stating that he will continue to support its inhabitants until they achieve their right to self-determination.
In a recent speech, Tebboune mentioned that major countries are attempting to find a solution to this issue, but he simultaneously rejected any imposed resolution.
Regarding relations with Morocco, the Algerian president dismissed the idea of normalizing relations as being contingent on the Sahara issue, noting that the borders between the two countries have been closed for an extended period and that this matter is not the reason for it.
