Saudi Arabia asks pilgrims not to leave their camps in Arafat until the afternoon to ensure their safety.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has urged the guests of Allah to remain in their camps at Arafat on the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah until 4 PM; to ensure their safety from direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, and to help reduce heat stress while performing the greatest pillar of Hajj.

The ministry clarified that the sermon of the Day of Arafah will be broadcast live through audio and visual media to various camps, allowing pilgrims to listen to it easily and peacefully without the need to move or leave their locations.

The ministry urged the guests of Allah to adhere to the approved crowd management plans and schedules, and to avoid moving to traffic areas or non-designated sites, as this could cause confusion in crowd management and affect the smooth movement between locations.

The ministry also called for compliance with the prohibition on ascending the Mountain of Mercy, as this could pose risks to the safety of the guests of Allah, emphasizing that adherence to these instructions contributes to performing the rituals with ease and tranquility, and enhances the efficiency of crowd management to achieve a safe and organized experience for all guests of Allah.
