The judicial police in the Anfa security area of Casablanca opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, to arrest all individuals involved in the attempt to distribute one million and 900 thousand and 893 units of fireworks and firecrackers.
This security operation was carried out in the city of Casablanca, where national security forces apprehended two individuals caught in the act of distributing this significant shipment of fireworks and firecrackers without permission.
The judicial police initiated measures to capture and subjected the two suspects to the judicial investigation ordered by the competent public prosecutor’s office, to determine all potential extensions of this criminal activity.
These security operations carried out by various security services are part of the continuous and diligent efforts to combat the distribution of explosive materials, whose use poses a great risk to the safety of individuals and property.
