In order to organize seasonal employment in the agricultural sector, public and professional stakeholders concerned with employment in the agricultural sector have signed a framework agreement dedicated to promoting employment and employability in this sector.
This framework agreement aims to bring about a structural change in managing seasonal agricultural employment, by transitioning from an urgent processing approach to a proactive, organized, and consultative approach. It also specifically aims to enhance planning for labor needs, structure recruitment processes, and improve the linkage between agricultural employers and job seekers, within a regulated and transparent framework.
This initiative places particular importance on promoting structured and decent employment, securing seasonal professional pathways, and improving access to employment in rural areas.
This framework agreement was signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests, Ahmed El Ouari, the Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises, Employment, and Skills, Younes Skouri, the Director General of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills, Abdullah Chouikh, and the President of the Moroccan Confederation of Agriculture and Rural Development (Comader), Rachid Benali.
