Royal Banquet in Honor of the Senegalese Delegation

King Mohammed VI held a lunch today, Monday, in Rabat, in honor of the Senegalese Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, and the accompanying delegation, presided over by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch.

This lunch was attended, in particular, by the Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad of the Republic of Senegal, Sheikh Niang, the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the Kingdom of Morocco, Sinabo Dial, and members of the delegation accompanying Mr. Sonko.

The lunch was also attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, the President of the House of Councillors, Mohamed Ould Rashid, the King’s Advisor, Omar Kabaj, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Senegal, Hassan Nasri.

Akhannouch and Sonko also chaired today the works of the 15th session of the Moroccan-Senegalese High Joint Committee on Partnership, which culminated in the adoption of the joint statement and the signing of several cooperation agreements, partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding, and protocols.
