The police elements of the Tangier Security State stopped a 28-year-old person on suspicion of being involved in a case related to the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychological substances.
The suspect was arrested at the train station in the city of Tangier, while caught in the act of possessing and trafficking drugs, where the inspection process resulted in finding 1199 medical narcotic tablets in his possession, in addition to a sum of money suspected to be derived from this criminal activity.
The process of checking the suspect in the national security database showed that he is the subject of a nationwide search warrant issued by the judicial police services in the city of Kenitra, on suspicion of his involvement in a similar case concerning the trafficking of hallucinogenic tablets.
The suspect has been subjected to judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to reveal all the circumstances and details of this case, as well as to identify any potential extensions of this criminal activity.
