The city of Tangier recorded the highest rainfall in Morocco over the past hours, totaling 82 mm, according to statistics from the General Directorate of Meteorology.

According to meteorological data, during the past 24 hours, the Tangier station recorded 57 mm, in addition to the Tangier port station recording 25 mm.

This rainfall caused blockages in the drainage systems, especially in the Al-Awamah area, which has become the primary affected area in recent months despite flood control projects there. As usual, the Blaka area was flooded since the early hours of Tuesday, December 16.

– Casablanca-port and Taroudant: 11 mm

– Inzegane: 10 mm

– Agadir-airport, Essaouira-airport, and Marrakech: 09 mm

– Al-Hoceima: 08 mm

– Essaouira-port and Nowsar: 07 mm

– Mohammedia: 05 mm

– Ben Guérir: 04 mm

– Taza: 03 mm

– Boudnib, Midelt, and Sidi Ifni: 02 mm

– Tiznit: 01 mm
