The president of the Mougouga district, Abdel Aziz Ben Azzouz, expressed his anger regarding the exploitation of the condition of the road between Mougouga and the Tangier Balie area through social media, especially after the release of a song specifically about it titled “Tangier Hafari and the mayor’s path.”
Ben Azzouz stated that there are speculations about the matter without anyone investigating the actual condition of the road, which is constantly exposed to flooding due to its being below sea level, according to the president of the Mougouga district.
Ben Azzouz said that the municipality or the province should have sent a technician to explain the condition of the road, rather than turning it into a trending topic on social media by spreading memes, videos, and even songs.
