At least one woman died, and several other people were injured with varying degrees of severity, in a traffic accident that occurred on Friday, November 28. This incident took place on the national road linking Sidi Slimane and Sidi Yahya al-Gharb.
The traffic accident resulted from a collision between two workers’ transport buses, one of which was carrying agricultural workers from one of the farming areas in the region.
Local sources reported that the number of injured reached 13 individuals who were transferred to the regional hospital of Sidi Slimane for essential treatment. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances and conditions of the accident that occurred on a road known for incomplete work.
