On Saturday, October 25, airport security at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca arrested a 24-year-old French national of Algerian descent. He is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by French judicial authorities.

According to a security source, upon the suspect’s arrival at the Casablanca airport, a check against the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) database revealed that he was wanted internationally based on a red notice issued by the National Central Bureau in Paris. He is suspected of being affiliated with a criminal gang and unlawfully possessing explosive materials.
