On June 30, a group of hackers threatened to leak personal data of employees from the National Fund for Social Security Organizations, known as “CNOPS,” along with sensitive documents.
A specialized group monitoring cybersecurity breaches reported that hackers posted a warning in an online forum regarding their intent to disclose personal information of CNOPS employees. This information includes employees’ full names, roles, and other personal details.
The hackers pledged to release this data soon.

In response to cybersecurity threats, CNOPS recently enhanced its online services by tightening security measures for accessing its platforms. Users are now required to verify their identity through multiple steps.
### Social Security Data Leaks
This threat follows previous breaches where the social security fund suffered data leaks from a group of Algerian hackers. The potential for further leaks and breaches has alarmed multiple institutions.
Algerian platforms have capitalized on vulnerabilities in Moroccan electronic services, purchasing various data that allowed foreign hackers to access sensitive information. These platforms have used the data for political purposes, targeting specific individuals, while raising doubts about the authenticity of the leaked data and cautioning against accessing the files and links.
