Judicial Police Arrest British Citizens in Agadir

On Saturday, June 28, police in Agadir arrested two British nationals based on accurate information provided by the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance.

The arrests took place in the “Anza” area of Agadir during a security operation. The individuals were flagged in the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) database, revealing that one is subject to an international arrest warrant from British authorities for his alleged involvement in a homicide case.

The second individual is the subject of an international search warrant based on a red notice issued by British judicial authorities, suspected of failing to appear before the court and violating terms of a conditional release.

Both detainees are being held in custody pending extradition procedures, with British security authorities notified of the arrests for the purpose of processing extradition files.

This operation exemplifies international cooperation in security matters and reflects Morocco’s ongoing efforts to pursue individuals wanted for transnational crimes.
