The security chief of Tangier, Abdel Kabir Farah, announced exceptional measures to secure the night of December 31 to January 1, in light of organizing the African Cup.
Various security teams gathered on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 31, at the public order protection barracks, where the governor reviewed his units’ readiness while presenting a set of directions.
Farah, in a statement to the press, said that among the measures to be implemented are tightening controls at all city entry points, securing institutions, facilitating traffic flow, and responding to any attempts to disrupt public order.
