On the eve of the kickoff of the Africa Cup of Nations “CAN 2025,” Moroccan airports recorded unprecedented record levels in the number of arrivals, according to what was reported by the National Office.
A total of 868,287 travelers were welcomed during the period from December 8 to 18 this year, an increase of 10.7 percent compared to 2024. There were 7,327 air movements recorded, marking a 13 percent increase.
Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca affirms its leading position as the strategic hub of the kingdom by receiving 292,221 travelers, which represents 33.7 percent of the total traffic, followed by the airports of Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Rabat, and Fez, all of which are experiencing continuous growth dynamics.
