The security forces of Beni Makada apprehended a person suspected of being involved in a case related to the possession and promotion of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The suspect was arrested while in the act of possessing and promoting drugs, as the inspection and search operation led to the discovery of 1,262 medical narcotic tablets of various types, a white weapon, in addition to a tear gas canister and a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The suspect was placed under police custody pending a judicial investigation that is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to reveal all the criminal acts attributed to him, as well as to identify the potential extensions of this criminal activity.
