On November 17, 2025, security forces in Marrakech, in coordination with the General Directorate for National Territory Surveillance, arrested a 23-year-old French national of Algerian descent. This individual was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by French judicial authorities.
The arrested person is wanted internationally following a request from the Central National Bureau in Paris, suspected of involvement in a case related to attempted murder within a criminal organization.
The operation led to the discovery of two pieces of hashish in the suspect’s possession, along with a sum of money in Algerian currency.
The individual has been placed under provisional detention pending extradition proceedings, in accordance with instructions from the competent public prosecutor’s office. The National Central Bureau, “Interpol Rabat,” part of the General Directorate of National Security, has been tasked with notifying its counterpart in France regarding the arrest.
