In a successful security operation announced today, the judicial police forces of Tangier have apprehended an individual with a long criminal record, suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking and possession network.
The operation took place this morning, Tuesday, November 4, in a popular neighborhood of Tangier, where the suspect was caught in the act of criminal activity. According to informed security sources, a thorough search resulted in the seizure of large quantities of narcotic substances in the possession of the detainee, indicating that the individual was regularly engaged in promotional activities.
The operation also led to the confiscation of 1,000 ecstasy tablets, which are among the most commonly abused drugs among youth in urban areas, in addition to a full kilogram of hashish.
