A section of a road adjacent to a construction site for a housing complex in the Alia neighborhood of Tangier collapsed on the evening of Friday, November 14.
According to available information, the roadworks and excavation activities using heavy machinery caused soil destabilization, leading to the collapse of part of the road during the rainfall, which has obstructed citizens from crossing.
Despite several hours having passed since the incident, the road has not been cordoned off to prevent access, raising concerns about the potential collapse of additional sections that could pose dangers to drivers and residents.
