The Monolithic Voice and Its Consequences

Protests by Generation Z overshadowed the session of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council on Monday, October 6. The council president and several advisors made efforts to address the issue.

An opposition advisor stated that the overwhelming dominance of a single voice, which has come to prevail in central and regional institutions, as well as political parties, is the reason behind the protests and street occupations. This comment referred to the Generation Z protests that began in Tangier on September 27.
