Taylor Swift’s Wedding Insights: Adam Sandler and Blank Space Handkerchiefs

Despite the reported no-phone policy during Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on Friday, details about the private ceremony at Madison Square Garden are beginning to surface from attendees.

While Swift and Kelce have yet to comment publicly, notable attendees like AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron, Maren Morris, and Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan have shared their insights from the event.

Aron shared and then deleted a detailed observation of the ceremony, describing the venue as being adorned in peach and white fabrics. He noted that large photographs of Taylor and Travis were displayed, showcasing them from infancy to late teens.

He continued, “A section of MSG was cordoned off, transforming the space into a serene outdoor garden with greens and whites, complete with real flowers and what seemed to be artificial trees. It accommodated around 75 chairs across fifteen rows. Though roughly a thousand guests were present, the atmosphere felt remarkably intimate.”

On Saturday’s episode of GMA, Stephanopoulos, Roberts, and Strahan recounted their experiences, revealing that the couple exchanged personal vows from small booklets.

Stephanopoulos described the ceremony as “as intimate as it could possibly be, considering it was held at Madison Square Garden,” referring to it as a “garden inside the Garden” and praising its beautiful setup.

In a statement to ABC News, he added that the vows were filled with authenticity, being “real, vulnerable, serious, and silly.”

Roberts confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed, noting that the event felt both “really intimate” and reminiscent of any wedding attended with close friends and family.

“It was their dream wedding, and it was truly amazing,” Strahan remarked. “Congratulations to the happy couple!”

Maren Morris also posted on Instagram about a handkerchief given to guests to use in case they shed tears during the ceremony, featuring lace embroidery with Swift and Kelce’s initials, the date and location of the wedding (July 3, 2026, NYC), and a lyric from “Blank Space,” which Kelce has identified as one of his favorites.

Also, LBC News captured an insight from Swift’s aunt, Robin Gentry, as she exited Madison Square Garden, stating, “They cried, laughed, danced, hugged, and kissed.”

Stephanopoulos shared that Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony and even performed an original song that was both humorous and heartfelt, focused on the couple’s love, according to TMZ sources.

TMZ also mentioned that Jason Kelce’s daughters served as flower girls, scattering petals as Swift made her way down the aisle to one of her own songs played by a string quartet.

The reception, as reported by TMZ, had decor reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland meets The Wizard of Oz, with People‘s source describing it as resembling a forest, complete with ferns and covered arena seats.

People also shared that Paul McCartney performed The Beatles’ classic “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

According to sources, it took approximately 20 minutes for Swift and Travis Kelce to read their vows from gold books.

TMZ revealed that the catering was provided by Zero Bond, and People added that Italian cuisine and “bars everywhere” were available at the reception.

Media outside the venue spotted some of the decor being unloaded the following morning, with a color scheme of cream, dusty rose, and sage green. Carnival and arcade games were also seen, along with a classic car featuring a “JUST&TMRD” license plate.
