The judicial police in the Ben Makada security area, in coordination with their counterparts in the city of Nador, arrested a person in his thirties, who has a criminal record, on suspicion of being involved in a burglary case inside a commercial establishment.
The suspect had used a car jack to break the door of a commercial establishment and stole several mobile phones and a sum of money, actions that were the subject of a video posted on social media pages.
The investigations and inquiries carried out led to the identification of the suspect, who was in a state of hiding before being arrested in the city of Nador, which also enabled the recovery of some of the stolen mobile phones.
The suspect has been held under judicial detention pending a judicial investigation that is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case, as well as to determine all the criminal acts attributed to the individual, while some individuals from Nador and Tangier were arrested and presented before the public prosecutor’s office in Tangier for purchasing stolen phones.
