The Moroccan international Naila Al-Ainawi, a midfielder for the Moroccan national team, suffered a serious injury during the second half of the final match against Senegal in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations at Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat.
The injury occurred around the 70th minute (approximately), due to a strong aerial clash with a Senegalese defender, where Al-Ainawi fell, injured in the head with visible bleeding. The match was stopped for more than 6-8 minutes for treatment, and his shirt was changed several times due to the blood.
