The African Football Confederation (CAF) affirmed its commitment to the principles of fairness, transparency, and strict adherence to CAF regulations, in an official response to a statement from the Senegalese Football Federation regarding logistical aspects before the final of the Africa Cup of Nations, Total Energies, Morocco 2025.
CAF stated that the Senegalese Football Federation was given the opportunity to choose the hotel for its team before the final, and this request was fulfilled.
After the Senegal national team expressed dissatisfaction regarding the training venue, CAF immediately contacted the local organizing committee to respond to Senegal’s request for an alternative training ground, and this matter was resolved.
The Senegalese Football Federation was also granted, in accordance with the regulations, its share of tickets for the final match.
