On Thursday, a government council will convene under the leadership of Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister.
According to a statement from the Prime Ministry, the council will begin by discussing a draft law concerning the regulation of the notary profession.
Subsequently, the council will review two draft decrees: the first regarding marine aquaculture farms, and the second aiming to amend the decree concerning the application of the value-added tax as outlined in Section Three of the General Tax Code.
The statement further indicated that the council will examine an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on military cooperation, signed in Rabat on June 17, 2025, along with a draft law approving this agreement. The council will conclude its session by considering proposals for appointments to high positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
