Mohamed Khlaoui Appointed as Examination Director of Anjera

Khalid Zidan, the Minister Delegate for Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, chaired the inauguration ceremony for Mohamed Khalfaoui, appointed by King Mohammed VI as the governor of Fahs-Anjra Province, on Saturday.

The minister congratulated the King for the royal directives presented in the Throne Speech of 2025, which called for the launch of a new generation of integrated territorial development programs to establish a new and comprehensive development model. These noble objectives, as the minister noted, were reaffirmed by His Majesty in the royal speech during the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of the eleventh legislative term, emphasizing that the goals of these programs surpass governmental and parliamentary timelines to focus on deeper and broader ambitions.

He explained that these objectives particularly aim to achieve greater social and spatial justice and to ensure all citizens benefit from growth and equal opportunities in various political, economic, and social rights.

The minister further highlighted that these programs aim for a significant change in mindsets and work methodologies, fostering a results-oriented culture grounded in precise field data by leveraging digital technologies and achieving a faster pace and stronger impact for this new generation of programs, based on a win-win approach between urban and rural areas.

To achieve these goals, Zidan asserted the need for social and territorial economic development based on pillars including ensuring comprehensive and equitable economic growth, encouraging private initiatives, attracting national and foreign investments, and supporting project holders.

In conclusion, the minister stated that the strategic directives of the state and the new achievements on both international and national levels, thanks to the wise policies of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, should motivate all territorial actors to actively engage in the kingdom’s significant milestones.
