Approximately 45 individuals shared footage from security cameras showing them being robbed by a child dubbed “the theft Messi,” who has become a topic of conversation on social media in Morocco.
The child was seen stealing electric scooters, breaking into homes to take blankets, and even a wheelchair belonging to a disabled person. He also entered commercial markets, stealing oil and electrical and electronic equipment in Casablanca.
Within a week, dozens of videos documenting the child’s activities were posted, with new clips appearing almost daily.
Conversely, the child appeared in several videos promising to cease his thefts after being caught by some citizens, swearing he would not repeat the offense before returning to his activities as usual.
