Individuals hacked the countdown screens for the Africa Cup final in Morocco, displaying insults towards the police on Tuesday, September 30.
Footage from Casablanca showed the screens ceasing their countdown, replaced by Arabic phrases containing profanity directed at police officers.
This breach is believed to be linked to Generation Z protests, which view the organization of football tournaments, including the Africa Cup, as mere entertainment, prioritizing sectors such as health, education, and youth employment instead.
