A distinguished police officer took his own life using his service weapon. He was found dead in his home in Agadir on the morning of Monday, September 15.
The Agadir Security Directorate has initiated a judicial investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office to uncover the circumstances, motivations, and details surrounding the officer’s death.
According to on-site examinations and ballistic analyses, the deceased officer was discovered in his residence in the Mohammedia neighborhood of Agadir, showing signs of a gunshot wound from his service pistol.
Ongoing judicial investigations are being carried out by the regional judicial police in Agadir, ordered by the relevant public prosecutor’s office, to determine the motives and background of this incident. Notably, the officer had been performing his duties normally and had shown no recent signs of unusual behavior or symptoms.
