Journalists questioned the discrepancy in the name of Moroccan player Hamza Ikman during his introduction as a new player for Lille OSC. The player revealed a mistake made by civil registration.
At a press conference, a journalist highlighted the difference in the player’s name in French, noting an additional letter “A” at the beginning of his surname and sought clarification.
Hamza, addressing the question with humor, stated that the extra letter was “forgotten” by mistake when his name was registered and that he had not found the time to correct the error.
