Dark Comedy: Muslim Brotherhood Protests in Tel Aviv Against Egypt!

In an unprecedented incident, a group affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood demonstrated outside the Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv. They accused Cairo of failing to provide adequate assistance to Gaza and of contributing to its starvation.

The protesters belong to the Islamic Movement in Israel, which is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood founded in Egypt.

Kamal al-Khatib, Deputy Head of the Islamic Movement prior to the Israeli ban and Chairman of the Committee for Freedoms and Defense of Prisoners, stated that the protest in front of the Egyptian Embassy was against the war and starvation in Gaza. He indicated that it was organized in response to a call from the Union of Mosque Imams in Wadi Ara.

This demonstration was met with significant ridicule, particularly given that it was directed against an Arab and Muslim nation from within Israel’s administrative capital, which is attacking and besieging Gaza. The protest continues to cast doubt on Egypt’s role, coming just hours after Hamas accused Cairo of providing aid that is merely “media propaganda.”
