Algerian Army Claims to Have Killed 3 Moroccans

The Algerian army claimed “three Moroccans were killed” on the evening of Wednesday, January 28, as a result of an ambush in the Anama area of Béchar in the third military region.

The Ministry of Defense, in an official statement, accused the deceased of drug smuggling, releasing their names as “Adullah Abda,” “Muhammad Azza,” and “Qandoosi Sarfafa.”

Alongside the deceased, a fourth individual named Maimoun Azza was detained. According to the same source, these individuals attempted to exploit the weather conditions affecting several regions to carry out criminal activities.

No confirmation has been issued from the Moroccan side regarding these allegations, noting that Algeria has a habit of publishing statements every Wednesday accusing Moroccans of attempting to smuggle drugs. It has previously been involved in fabricating and concocting testimonies and broadcasting them on state television.
