Alert Bulletin: Eastern Regions to Experience Dust Storms Starting Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that hot weather is expected, accompanied by an easterly wind. Strong gusts, along with sandstorms, are anticipated in several regions of the country on Saturday and Sunday.

In an orange alert bulletin, the Directorate indicated that temperatures could range between 43 and 46 degrees Celsius tomorrow, particularly in the provinces of Tata, Zagora, Assa-Zag, Smara, Boujdour, Oued Eddahab, and Awsard.

The forecast also predicts locally strong gusts of wind, reaching speeds of 70 to 80 km/h, along with sandstorms. These conditions are expected from 6 AM on Saturday until the same time on Sunday in the provinces of Boujdour, Oued Eddahab, and Awsard.
