The regional multi-service company in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has cut off electricity to 17 areas in the city of Ksar al-Kabir, including the city hospital.
The company reported on Thursday morning, January 29, that the decision is temporary and until conditions stabilize, attributing it to the heavy rainfall that the region has experienced and the rising water levels, as some power stations have been flooded, posing a risk to the safety of individuals and facilities.
The affected areas are as follows:
Ksar al-Kabir Hospital – Ahil Fes subdivision – Al-Farah subdivision – Al-Zahra complex and subdivision – Al-Wahda subdivision – Benkirane subdivision – Ata Allah subdivision – Al-Huda subdivision – Al-Suwaina subdivision – Bil Arabi subdivision – Al-Amal subdivision – Anas subdivision – Al-Nakheel subdivision – Al-Yaqoubi subdivision – Al-Duha – Al-Mahrrin tank – Shoe factory
