The maritime traffic between the Spanish port of Tarifa and the port of Tangier experienced new disruptions today, Friday, due to unfavorable weather conditions caused by the storm “Ingrid” that is affecting the Cádiz region, according to what the authorities of the Port of Algeciras reported.
The shipping companies Africa Morocco Link (AML) and Balearia announced the cancellation of trips scheduled to Tangier starting from 3 PM, based on the information disseminated by the Port Authority of Algeciras to travelers.
The total number of trips canceled between 3 PM and 9 PM reached five, thus increasing the duration of disruptions recorded on this maritime route to three consecutive days. The suspension also includes a trip by Balearia scheduled for Saturday at 9 AM.
In contrast, maritime trips between the port of Algeciras and the port of Tangier Med are continuing normally, with no cancellations reported so far, according to the same source.
