The Ministry of National Education decided to re-conduct the local unified exam, as well as the continuous assessment tests for the third phase of the first semester in leading educational institutions at the elementary level, following the leakage of some topics on Tuesday, January 20.
The ministry also decided to postpone the implementation of the written unified exam and the continuous assessment tests for the leaked subjects scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
The decision came according to the same source following investigations that followed the leakage of some topics related to the continuous assessment for the third phase of the first semester and the local unified exam in leading educational institutions at the elementary level, on some social media pages.
Parents and teachers criticized the announcement and described it as ambiguous, stating that it contains errors as the intended phase is “the second phase” and not the third phase mentioned.
Several teachers condemned the re-examination after the correction process, while others demanded clarification of the intended subjects.
