This took place during a field visit to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, conducted by Hammouchi on Sunday afternoon, January 18, where he assessed the readiness of advanced security protocols accompanying the organization of the final match of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 between the Moroccan team and its Senegalese counterpart.

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, along with the accompanying security delegation, was keen to personally oversee the finer details of the general security protocol during this crucial match, starting from the external arrangements related to the movement of crowds along the routes leading to the stadium all the way to inside the stadium, also passing through the outer gate area that includes surveillance, inspection, and sorting, which combines security strictness with smoothness and speed of entry into the stadium.
Explanations were also provided to the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance about the high level reached by the integration between the human element and technology uses within security protocols, especially in deploying visual surveillance mechanisms with fixed cameras and drones, in addition to incorporating artificial intelligence technologies in managing traffic flow and monitoring suspicious individuals.
