Arrogance.. Hossam Hassan demands journalists to be ‘diplomatic’ and criticizes the Moroccan national team.

The Egyptian national team coach, Hossam Hassan, insists that he suffers from a complex regarding Morocco. After criticizing the organization and the audience, he has now turned his attention to the Moroccan team.

During a press conference before the match to determine the third place, and when asked about the poor performance of the Egyptian team against Senegal which led to their elimination, the coach chose to talk about the Moroccan team, considering that they qualified with great difficulty despite playing on their own ground and in front of around 100,000 spectators.

Hassan stated that he is satisfied with the performance of the Egyptian team, considering that the reason for leaving the Africa Cup is solely due to the audience and the ground, and that his team would win the title if they were on home ground under other conditions.

Additionally, the coach engaged in exchanges with Moroccan journalists who asked him for an explanation regarding his attack on Morocco to justify his failure, and he refused to respond, stating that these comments were inappropriate. He also told one of the Moroccan journalists that he “doesn’t understand his language even though it is in Arabic.”

The coach’s brother, Ibrahim Hassan, was also present, and during the tension in the hall, he mocked the Moroccan journalists for Morocco’s not winning the championship for 50 years.

Clearly, their problem is Morocco… Here, the brother of the Egypt coach interacts with journalists’ questions: 50 years without winning a championship.
