The draw for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled from March 17 to April 3 in Morocco, placed the Moroccan national team in Group A, alongside the teams from Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya. This came after the draw process that took place on Thursday, January 15, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé.
This edition of the continental competition features the participation of 16 teams, compared to 12 in previous editions. They are divided into four groups, each containing four teams.
After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages, which include the quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place match, and final. Additionally, there will be qualification matches for the Women’s World Cup (Brazil 2027).

Group A: Morocco, Algeria, Senegal, Kenya
Group B: South Africa, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Tanzania
Group C: Nigeria, Zambia, Egypt, Malawi
