The administrative court in Tangier decided on Monday, January 12, to postpone the hearing in the case of the dismissal of the advisor Zakaria Abou Najah to January 26 of the current month.
The decision to postpone was made “to fulfill the legal requirements after rejecting the notification with the legal agent of the Kingdom to provide clarifications contained in the dismissal article.”
The advisor had indicated last week a failed attempt to notify him of the decision inside the Tangier stadium, where he was watching a football match.
Abou Najah stated in a Facebook post, “Today, on the pitch, a judicial officer entered accompanied by several administrative officials of a sports facility, but the scene was not like that; it had nothing to do with the African Cup, the World Cup, sports, or the stadium.”
He added, “It turns out that the matter was related to an attempt to notify an invalid ‘decision’ and a futile summons to deliver it outside the legal deadline.”
