The public prosecutor in Tangier decided to continue the detention of the TikToker Younes, known as “Moulinex,” and place him in the local prison, pending his appearance before the investigating judge regarding the case of “Adam Bencheroun.”
Moulinex was decided on the evening of Sunday, November 23, to be referred for investigation on charges including human trafficking through sexual exploitation, prostitution of others by publishing pornographic materials on social media concerning a minor under 18 years, broadcasting pornographic scenes involving the minor, public indecency, promoting homosexuality, in addition to publishing false claims that affect private life.
The charges directed against him fall under Article 448 of the Anti-Human Trafficking Law, which stipulates penalties ranging from 20 to 30 years of imprisonment in the case of proven exploitation of a minor in pornographic activities, especially if it involves a cross-border aspect. These charges are similar to those directed against the mother of the TikToker Adam Bencheroun.
These developments come in the context of the case that was triggered by the videos of Adam Bencheroun and his mother. During the investigations with Adam, mention was made of the transgender person “Sofia Taloni” who welcomed the young man in Turkey, as well as TikToker Younes due to a meeting between them in Morocco and her participation in shows on TikTok. Because of the timing of his presence in the city of Marrakech, he was arrested for investigation to determine the extent of his involvement in the case.
