The International Football Federation (FIFA) issued today the latest update for the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Men’s Ranking, with the results of recent international matches taken into account, placing Morocco in sixth place for the first time in its history.
Morocco’s ranking improved after a positive draw with Brazil, which now occupies fifth place, with one goal for each team.
The Argentina Maintains Its Strong Lead
Argentina retained the top spot in the ranking with 1889.06 points, after a significant victory over Algeria with a score of 3-0, achieving a positive gain of +11.80 points.
The French national team comes in second with 1887.11 points after its victory over Senegal 3-1 (+16.41).
Spain in Third Place
Spain dropped to third place with 1856.03 points (-18.68) after a goalless draw against Cape Verde.
England Approaches the Top
The ranking saw significant progress for England, which occupies fourth place with 1847.68 points (+19.66), during its lead of 3-2 against Croatia (in the 76th minute).
