Approximately 45 individuals shared surveillance footage showing them being robbed by a child nicknamed “Messi of Theft,” turning him into a topic of conversation on social media in Morocco.
The child was seen stealing electric scooters, breaking into homes to take blankets, and even a wheelchair belonging to a disabled person. He also targeted retail markets in Casablanca, where he stole oil and electronic equipment.
Within a week, dozens of videos depicting the child’s activities were posted, with new footage emerging almost daily.
Conversely, the child appeared in multiple videos promising to cease his thefts after being caught by some citizens, swearing that this would be “the last time” before returning to his activities as usual.
