China Seeks to Strengthen Security Cooperation with Morocco

On Monday, November 10, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Rabat, Yui Jin Song, at his office in Rabat.

This visit reflects a mutual desire to enhance security cooperation between Morocco and China, as well as to coordinate efforts on various security issues of common interest.

Song praised the level of support and security coordination with the National Security Directorate. She also expressed her country’s readiness to cooperate on various issues that will be addressed during the 93rd session of the General Assembly of INTERPOL, which Morocco is set to host from November 24 to 27 in Marrakech.

This meeting underscores the commitment of the National Security Directorate and the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance to implement various bilateral security partnerships aimed at strengthening security cooperation at both regional and international levels.
