On Saturday, October 25, 70 new buses were received at the port of Agadir as part of the implementation of the public urban transport program for the period 2025-2029.
Agadir is among the six cities benefiting from the first phase of this program, which aims to provide all Moroccan cities with suitable urban transportation means that can meet the qualitative and quantitative expectations of citizens.
Younes Al-Qasimi, Director of Urban Transport at the General Directorate of Territorial Communities within the Ministry of Interior, announced that around 1,000 buses are expected to be received by the end of October and early November 2025, as part of the first phase of the new public urban transport program for the period 2025-2029.
Al-Qasimi noted that this total is part of 1,487 buses projected for the first phase of the program.
