Ryanair Flight: Several Passengers Injured During Takeoff from Spain

Several passengers sustained minor injuries during the evacuation of a Ryanair flight preparing to take off from Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain due to a false fire alarm.

The flight was scheduled to travel from Palma de Mallorca to Manchester on the night of July 4 when its departure was delayed by the alarm. Passengers exited the aircraft using emergency slides and were taken back to the terminal.

During the evacuation, multiple passengers were injured. Local media reported that at least 18 individuals were hurt in the incident, with six transported to the hospital while others were treated at the scene.

Ryanair, the low-cost airline, confirmed that no fire had occurred on the plane.

The Spanish Airports Authority announced that an incident involving a Ryanair aircraft took place but assured that airport operations were not affected by the situation.
