The International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced the ideal lineup for the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup, which includes Saudi Arabian goalkeeper Yassine Bounou from Al-Hilal.
Alongside Bounou, the lineup, revealed on Wednesday, July 2, features Paris Saint-Germain player Achraf Hakimi.
This selection reflects the impressive performances of both Moroccan players. Hakimi contributed significantly to PSG’s advancement to the quarter-finals by scoring the fourth goal against Inter Miami.
Bounou’s crucial saves against Manchester City played a pivotal role in his inclusion in the ideal lineup, earning him the highest rating of 8.9, particularly highlighted by a critical intervention against Savinho.
Al-Hilal is set to face Fluminense on Friday, July 4, at 8 PM local time in Morocco, while Paris Saint-Germain will meet Bayern Munich on Saturday, July 5, at 5 PM.
