2026 World Cup: Morocco Earns $11 Million for Advancing to the Round of 32

Rabat – Morocco has secured $11 million in FIFA prize money after advancing to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Atlas Lions received this reward following their 4-2 victory over Haiti in their final match of Group C, held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, USA.

This win enabled Morocco to finish second in Group C with seven points, trailing only Brazil. Coached by Mohamed Ouahbi, the team will now face the winners of Group F in the next round.

The $11 million prize is part of FIFA’s distribution system for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This amount is in addition to the $2.5 million participation fee that each qualified team received prior to the tournament.

FIFA’s prize money increases as teams progress through the competition, with quarterfinalists set to receive $19 million, while the winners of the 2026 World Cup will earn $50 million.
